Barry Irani

Barry Irani brings more than three decades of petroleum industry experience to SB International Inc. He spent the bulk of his career at Enserch Exploration Inc. where he served in various senior management positions including chief engineer, senior vice president of U.S. operations, and executive vice president of worldwide operations. Mr. Irani has served on the Chairman’s Advisory Council of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India, and the Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board of the University of Oklahoma. He is a distinguished lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers as well as the University of Texas at Dallas and Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Bombay and a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Irani is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development and is a registered professional engineer in Texas.
