The University of Dallas ranks second U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 rankings for the nation’s best colleges

SB International executives and University of Dallas alumni, Satish Gupta and Yasmin Gupta, have proudly supported their alma mater over the years and revere the honor bestowed by the renowned publication.  The University of Dallas ranked 2nd among Texas’ 31 regional public and private universities.  In addition, the university ranked 13th out of 121 in the West region of the United States.  The report also recognized the University of Dallas as one of the 15 “Best Value Schools” in the West.  For more information, go to www.usnews.com/colleges.

 

SB International sponsors the University of Dallas College of Business MBA Capstone project for a second consecutive year

For a second consecutive year, SB International partnered with the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management to sponsor the MBA capstone research project for the summer semester. The project involved a comprehensive inspection into the complex relationship, and often dichotomy, between politics and economics as it pertains to energy policy.  Capstone students analyzed domestic and foreign forces and forecasted future financial data and the timeline for the United States to export liquefied natural gas (LNG).  The class of cross-disciplinary concentrations honed in on the most prolific predictors for the future of LNG export and provided an inclusive final report to SB International executives.

Satish Gupta and SB International collaborated with the U.S. Department of State’s International Leadership Program and the North Texas Council for International Visitors (NTCIV) for an open dialogue forum discussing energy policy, free energy trade, and the viability of natural gas being the predominant worldwide energy source for this century.  The meeting was held at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas, Texas.  The venerated dignitaries represented the nations of Angola, Cyprus, Germany, India, Mongolia, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nigeria, PR of China, Poland, Romania, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, and Vietnam.

     

SB International executives receive honor at the installation of the University of Dallas Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma

SB International executives and UD alumni, Satish Gupta and Yasmin Gupta, were privileged to be the first honorees at the installation of the University of Dallas, College of Business Chapter of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS).  The establishing of the BGS chapter is a perk bestowed to schools receiving accreditation from the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).  The University of Dallas was accredited by AACSB International in 2012.

The World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth hosted a luncheon, sponsored in part by SB International, with Dr. Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State and revered national and international affairs diplomat.  Among several topics, Dr. Kissinger analyzed the United States’ prominent position on the global stage regarding energy production and how that capacity could be leveraged to bring forth diplomacy.  His view zealously promoted energy independence and the opportunity it holds to further U.S. economic growth as well as worldwide political partnerships.   Click HERE to view the discussion online.

Tripathi, Chairman & Managing Director of the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) hosted Satish Gupta, President & CEO, and members of SB International’s executive team in Houston, Texas.  The conversation focused on how SBI and GAIL can work together to promote international LNG business.

SB International executives demonstrate support at the White House and 57th Presidential Inauguration

Satish Gupta, President & CEO, Yasmin Gupta, Executive Vice President, and Arish Gupta, Senior Vice President, attended numerous events in Washington, D.C. during the inaugural weekend, January 18-21, 2013.  The Company’s executives spoke personally with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden regarding long-term energy planning.  The Administration’s leadership conveyed great optimism for America’s impending benefits from natural gas.  Keeping politics aside and economics at the forefront, President Obama and Vice President Biden expressed the significance of charting the next steps in America’s energy future involving natural gas consumption.  Vice President Biden particularly voiced his upbeat perspective regarding the advancement of natural gas resulting in social and economic prosperities.
